Blicke in den wechselhaften Himmel von Glasgow: In der Innenstadt stehen viktorianische Bauten in einem engen Straßen-Gitter voller Autos und Busse. Zum Stadtrand hin dominieren Hochhäuser auf freiem Feld, Wohn-Silos, umspült vom unabläßigen Strom und Lärm der Stadt-Autobahn M8. Einst waren diese Hochäuser hochmodern und beliebt, doch mittlerweile sind sie alt und vernachläßigt, stehen teils leer, und viele werden wieder abgerissen. Manche ehemaligen Bewohner/innen verklären die Hochhäuser nostalgisch, andere wünschen sie zum Teufel und bevorzugen kleine Einfamilienhäuschen. Das Video endet mit einer Himmelfahrt von Hochhäusern: eine Apotheose des Wandels von Lebensweisen. Formal zitiert die Video-Animation konstruktivistische und barocke Bildauffassungen.

Gazes into the often changing sky of Glasgow: In the city centre, Victorian buildings stand in a grid of streets filled with cars and buses. Towards the periphery, high-rises are dominating the landscape; the tower blocks stand in the never ending noise of the urban motorway M8. Once, these high-rises were ultra-modern and popular, but meanwhile they are old and neglected, partially abandoned, and many of them are being demolished. Some former inhabitants romanticise "their" good high-rises, others don't want to see them anymore and prefer small family homes. The video ends with an ascension of high-rises: an apotheosis of changing ways of urban life. The video animation quotesand interweaves constructivist and baroque aesthetics.
